Beef Chow Fun

Loaded with fat rice noodles, tender and succulent beef, and crisp veggies, Beef chow fun is a staple Cantonese dish. Simple, tasty and super satisfying!

  • 9 oz Beef
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce [Marinade]
  • 1 count Egg [Marinade]
  • 0.25 tbsp Sugar [Marinade]
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch Slurry (2 Tbsp Cornstarch Mixed With 1 Tbsp Water)
  • 3 oz Onion, Sliced
  • 2 stalk Green Onions, Sliced
  • 0.25 cup Shaoxing Cooking Wine
  • 2 oz Bean Sprouts
  • 0.25 oz Ginger Slices, Julienned
  • 3 oz Rice noodles (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce [Seasoning]
  • 1 tbsp Seafood Sauce [Seasoning]
  • 1 tsp Sugar [Seasoning]
  • 0.1 tsp White Pepper [Seasoning]

Marinate the beef for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in hot wok, and stir-fry the beef quickly till half cooked, then transfer to a plate. Set aside.

Add the onion and green onions in a wok, and cook for 3 minutes until soften.

Add bean sprouts and cook for 2 minutes. Set aside.

In the same wok, add a little bit more oil, then stir in ginger, rice noodles, and cook until it is hot.

Add all the [Seasoning], quickly stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add beef, onion mixture, and yellow chives. Cook for a minute, then it is done!
