If you are craving a good beef stir-fry dish, then you’re in luck. This recipe shows you how to make an easy Beef Short Rib stir-fry, Thai style. It’s simple to make but the flavors are plentiful.
Beef Short Rib With Spicy Thai Basil
TIME: 30 min
SERVING: 2 People
- 2 cup Sliced Beef ribs, boneless
- 4 pcs Clove garlic
- 2 tbsp Chopped chili
- 4 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp Fish sauce
- 0.25 cup Thai basil leaves
Chop garlic finely.
Preheat the pan over high heat, then add cooking oil.
Add garlic and chili in the pan, lower the heat to medium-high, and stir fry until fragrant.

Add soy sauce, sugar, oyster sauce to the pan, turn heat to low, stir till sugar is melted.
Keep stirring until the sauce condenses, then add Thai basil leaves. Turn heat off.
Pad Gra prow is made with a different kind of basil, called holy basil. If you can find it in your local Asian grocery store, by all means, use it! But Thai basil or, as I mentioned, regular Italian basil, can also work for this dish.
