Golden and crispy Chinese doughnut sticks stuffed with savory shrimp fillings, this is a easy and delicious recipe that’s great as appetizers or main course.

Ingredients:
  • 3 oz. Shrimp, minced
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing wine
  • 0.25 tsp. White pepper, a pinch
  • 0.25 tsp. Salt, a pinch
  • 0.25 tsp. Sugar, a pinch
  • 0.5 tbsp. Minced ginger
  • 0.5 tbsp. Finely chopped green onion
  • 1 count Egg
  • 1 stick Chinese Donut (you can find this in Chinese Supermarkets).
  • 2 tbsp. Corn Starch
  • 2 oz. Chopped Pineapple
  • 0.5 count Lemon juice, to taste
  • 1 tbps Mayonnaise, to taste

In a mixing bowl, combine minced shrimp, Shaoxing wine, white pepper, salt, sugar, minced ginger, and finely chopped green onion. Mix completely.

Cut Chinese doughnut sticks into 2-inch pieces

Stuff shrimp mixture into Chinese doughnut pieces, then coat both ends with corn starch.

In a wok over high heat, bring enough cooking oil to 300°F (150°C), deep-fry stuffed Chinese doughnut pieces until floating. Remove from oil and drain.

Place on a serving plate and garnish with pineapple.
