  • 0.25 cup Cold Water
  • 0.5 cup Glucose Syrup Or Corn Syrup
  • 1 tbsp. Glycerin
  • 2 tbsp. Shortening Or Butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 8 cup Sifted Confectioners' Sugar
  • Egg White Mixture
  • 10 count Egg White
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp. Cream Of Tartar
  • 10 count Egg Yolk
  • 0.3 cup Water
  • 0.3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Cake Flour
  • 4 tbsp. Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 0.3 cup Toasted Walnuts
  • Cream
  • 2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.25 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar
  • Garnish
  • 4 cup 2.5x7 Inches Chocolate Blocks
  • 1 cup Toasted Walnuts
  • 1 pinch Edible Gold Leaf

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a mixing bowl, add the eggs, sugar, and mix for 1 minutes.

Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and turn on the mixer. Add whipping cream, butter, the beat until evenly combined. Make sure there are no lumps.

Transfer batter to prepared 14 x 10 inches baking sheet pan and smooth the top with an offset spatula. Layer toasted walnuts with some spaces on top.

Bake 350°F(175°C) for 10 mins until light golden brown. Let cool completely.

Add the heavy cream, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar, and beat with an electric mixer for 4-5 minutes, or until stiff peaks form / it’s scoop-able with a spoon and holds its shape.

Use for decoration later. Place leftovers in a container and store them in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Cut the cake into 7x7 inch slices, for a total of two pieces.

Layer 1 cake piece on the decorating stand, and add chocolate cream on top; repeat for the 2nd layer.

From the top right corner on the cake top, squeeze a thin layer of chocolate cream in wave form.

With a small strainer, sift 2 tbsp cocoa powder on top of the chocolate cream.

Garnish with thin layers of chocolate block on the four sides of the cake. Decorate with fondant flowers, toasted walnuts, and edible gold leaf.
