  • 1 lb. Ground Pork
  • 6 Water Chestnut
  • 0.5 tsp. Salt
  • 0.25 tsp. Sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp. Shaoxing Wine
  • 1 tbsp. Ginger, Minced
  • 0.5 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Green Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 tbsp. Cornstarch Mixture
  • 0.25 tsp. White Pepper
  • ㅤ Soup
  • half Pumpkin
  • 2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 tbsp. Butter

Soak the long grain rice in water for 2 hours.

Add water chestnut, salt, sugar, Shaoxing wine, minced ginger, soy sauce, chopped green onion, egg, water with corn starch, and white pepper. Then mix them until they are well combined

Take a scoop of the mixture, place it in your palm, squish the meat out with your hands' purlicue to make round balls.

Take the rice from the 1st step out of the water. Make sure to filter out the water and then evenly spread it on a wood plate. Cover the meatball with rice evenly.

Steam the rice meatballs in a steamer for 20 mins.

Blend pumpkin and chicken broth to make pumpkin soup.

Filter the pumpkin soup and then heat it with butter in the pan over a small heat. Keep stiring until it becomes pasty

Serve the pumpkin soup on a plate, place the cooked rice meatballs from step 5 on the top. Decorate with some mint leaves.
