As they say it’s two steaks in one! There are many ways to cook a T- bone and using a skillet and oven is an ideal way when you only need to cook one. The side dish of butter sauce that's bursting with ingredients infused with fresh herbs and garlic plus a kick from the horseradish. It is perfectly designed to lace over your steak for an extra juicy meat result. Don't forget to allow your steak to sit for five minutes after cooking, before you cut into it to allow all the juices to return back. It will be restaurant style and worth the wait .
Grilled T-bone With Butter & Horseradish Sauce

- T- bone steak approx. 300g 1-inch thick
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tsp Olive Oilㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
- 【For The Horseradish Sauce】 ㅤ ㅤ
- Half Shallots, diced
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 5 Piece of Chives, chopped
- 2 sprigs Thyme
- c cup Butter Butter
- 1.5 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1.5 tbsp Horseradish
- 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
- 0.5 tsp Salt
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F.
Coat the steak with oil and season it on both sides with fresh cracked pepper and salt, set aside at room temperature .
Place the finely chopped shallots, garlic, thyme and chives mixture in a bowl then melt the butter and pour over it. Then mix in the mustard horseradish and seasoning.
In a hot skillet sear the t-bone on both sides, giving it a ¼ turn for one time to give the lattice grill marks on your steak.
Then place it in the oven for approx 12 minutes for a medium rare steak.
Remove your t-bone from the oven (allow a sitting period of 5 mins ) to a warm plate and serve with a lavish scoop of your warm horseradish butter sauce.
