  • 1/2 ½ Lemon Juice
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tbsp. Custard Powder
  • 2 tbsp. Corn Starch
  • ㅤLemon Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 Large Lemon
  • 1 tsp. White Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Custard Powder
  • tbsp. Honey
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt

First, cut the squid into gear shapes. (For details, please see the video.)

After cutting, put the squid in a bowl. Add all the 【Marinade】ingredents and combined them well. Put it on the side for later use.

Use the hob method to cut the lemon peel. Remove the white layer of the inner surface of the lemon, put the lemon shreds in a bowl, and squeeze the lemon juice in the bowl. Add water, white vinegar, custard powder, honey, sugar, and salt. Mix it well.

Prepare a pot of oil, adjust the oil temperature to about 150°C / 300°F, put the squid in the oil pan to fry, fry until golden brown and pick it up, wait until the oil temperature reaches 180°C / 350°F and refry twice or three times. This method of frying makes the outside of the squid more crispy.
