In only 15 minutes, a fantastic shrimp and potato dumpling meal can be on the table. Serve with a white wine such as a Soave, Valpolicella, or a Ripasso (for a hint of sweetness), in accordance with the cream sauce.
One Pot Pasta-Shrimp Gnocchi
SERVING: 2 People

- 1 medium Yellow Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 7 medium Shrimp
- 2 tbsp Butter (divided)
- 16 oz. Gnocchi
- ½ cup White Wine
- 7 oz. Cream Cheese
- ½ cup Fresh Dill
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- ⅛ tsp Salt
- ⅛ tsp Ground Black Pepper
Dice and place in separate bowls, onions, garlic and dill.
Preheat a large frying pan with olive oil on medium to high heat.
Add shrimp and fry for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, until the outside is pink, tails are red and the flesh is slightly opaque and white in color. Remove from the pan, set aside.
In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of butter and gnocchi.
Continue stirring and cook until gnocchi are golden brown.
Add 1 tbsp butter, onion and garlic to the pan. Sauté’ until onions are translucent.
Add wine, lower heat and cook until wine almost evaporates. Then add cream cheese, dill, chicken broth, salt and pepper, mix well and allow to cook for a few minutes.
Add shrimp and continue cooking until sauce is slightly thickened.
Ready to serve.
