In the mood for spaghetti in tomato sauce seasoned with red chili peppers, oregano, and basil? Then, this is your recipe. Can be served as the meal or as a side dish. And, it is so easy, even made in one large saucepan.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Red Chili Peppers
  • 5.5 oz. Cherry Tomatoes, large Vine Ripe
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Sun-Dried Tomato
  • 2 tbsp. Tomato Paste
  • 1 tbsp. Oregano, dried
  • 12 oz. Spaghetti
  • cup Water
  • to taste Sea Salt
  • to taste Ground Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Basil, Fresh [For Garnish]

Put in separate bowls after cutting: slice cherry tomatoes in half, slice red chili peppers, dice onion and garlic, and mince sun-dried tomatoes.

In a large (11-12”) saucepan, preheat the pan with cooking oil on medium heat. Add onions and garlic and sauté until the onions are translucent in color.

Add cherry tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes and stir. Add red chili peppers and tomato paste and continue to stir and heat. Add the oregano and stir.

Put the spaghetti on top of the cooked ingredients, and slightly separate the pasta.

Pour the water into the pan, and use enough water to cover the spaghetti.

Season with salt and black pepper. Bring water to a boil, cover the pan with lid, and cook for about 10 minutes.

While spaghetti cooks, chop basil. Once spaghetti is done, then stir in the basil.
