Easy Oven BBQ Pork Ribs

Oven poached in a bundle of aromatics, resulting in extra deliciously soft and tender ribs that almost fall off the bone. Finished with a double coating of my barbecue sauce and baked until caramelized, yielding a sticky and finger-lickingly yummy result.

  • 2 Racks of meaty Pork Ribs
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 0.5 cup White Wine
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 3 Sprigs of Thyme
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 Large Shallots
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Paprika Powderㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
  • 【For The Vegetables】
  • 1.5 cups Baby Carrot
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Zucchini ㅤ ㅤ
  • 0.5 cup Butter
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper

Place the ribs in an oven proof dish. Pour in the chicken stock, white wine and scatter it with the peppercorns, thyme, cumin seeds, garlic cloves, shallots and salt. Cover with a lid or tin foil and braise in the oven for 1 hour.

Mix the BBQ sauce with the garlic powder and paprika, set aside.

Preheat oven to 500°F / 250°C

Remove the ribs from the oven dish and coat it lavishly with the BBQ sauce on both sides. Place it back to the hot oven for 5 minutes and repeat this basting process again for another 5 minutes.

Add your favorite vegetables to the boiling water boil until vegetables cooked.
