This recipe will suit all your cake needs from muffin and cake pans to your Bundt tin. A little bit of frosting goes a long way. The cake is delicious, super moist, easy, and quick. A warming hint of nutmeg and cinnamon complements the pumpkin, producing the perfect balance.

  • 1 tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • Wet Ingredient
  • 3/4 cup Unsalted room temperature butter
  • 2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Egg
  • 15 oz. Pumpkin puree
  • Dry Ingredient
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking powder
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • ㅤ ㅤ ㅤCinnamon Spiced Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Cream cheese softened
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp. Cinnamon powder

Preheat the oven to 325°F/170°C and set an oven rack in the middle position.

Grease one bundt cake pan with butter and dust with flour.

In a large bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar on medium speed until just blended.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Continue beating until very light and fluffy, a few minutes.

Beat in the pumpkin puree. The mixture might look grainy and curdled at this point -- that's okay.

In a medium bowl, dusting flour all 【Dry Ingredient】; set aside.

Add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture and mix on low speed until combined.

Turn the batter into the prepared pans, dividing evenly, and bake for 65-75 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

In a large bowl, cream the softened cream cheese and butter together with a hand mixer for about 2 minutes, until light and fluffy.

Add vanilla extract, mix one minute. Add salt and batches of powdered sugar, mixing well in between batches until completely smooth.

Place in a pastry bag to decorate the completely cooled cake.
