Debone the chicken legs and then cut them into equally-sized small portions.
Dice the mushrooms and sausages into small chunks.
In a medium skillet, drizzle cooking oil over medium heat. Add ginger and chicken leg meat; fry 3-5 minutes until the chicken is a golden yellow. Add salt, black pepper, sliced mushroom, sausage, and diced carrots. Mix well and cook for around 2 minutes.
Add cooking wine, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar,
chicken broth, white pepper powder, and sesame oil. Stir well and let it simmer for a while.
In the electronic rice cooker, add 1lb of white rice and 2 cups of water.
Mix the ingredients prepared in Step 3-4 with the raw rice in the cooker. Place the lid over the rice cooker and cook for 20 minutes.
Add cooked broccoli and mix so that the broccoli is well distributed in the rice.
