Shrimp With Gnocchi In Cream Sauce

Succulent shrimps with a rich cheesy sauce are just how gnocchi likes it! This is another quick and easy one pot delight.

Butterfly the raw prawns by making a nick in the centre of the prawn and tuck the tail through so it looks like a swan.

In a medium pot of boiling salted water cook the gnocchi until they float up, this takes around 3-5 minutes.

Add oil to a medium heat pan with the onions and garlic, gently saute to soften, then add butter, white wine, chicken broth and the prawns, cook until the prawns turn to a pinkish colour, scatter some chopped parsley. Take out the prawns and set them aside.

Keeping the pan on the heat now add the heavy cream, simmer gently then pour in the gnocchi and the parmesan cheese and season .

Reheat the prawns by tossing them in with the gnocchi and the cheesy sauce allowing every ingredient to be coated.
