Stir Fry Black Pepper Beef Short Ribs

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 lb. Beef short ribs
  • Marinade
  • tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 1 large Egg
  • ½ tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Corn starch
  • Pan-fry the Ribs
  • 1 cup Cooking oil
  • Seasoning
  • tbsp Shallot, minced
  • tbsp Carrot, minced
  • 1 tbsp Celery, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro, finely Chopped
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • ½ tbsp Flour
  • ½ cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp A1 Original sauce
  • 1 tsp Shaoxing wine

In a mixing bowl, combine beef short ribs with【Marinade】and mix well. Then marinate for 30 minutes.

Mince shallot, cilantro, carrot, and celery.

In a wok over medium-low heat, add oil and beef short ribs, fry for 2 minutes on both sides.

Remove from the wok and drain oil. (Note: According to the size of the wok, you can add more oil during frying.)

Set the heat to low, add shallot, carrot, celery, and cilantro, stir fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add butter and flour, stir fry for 1 minute until becoming paste, add chicken broth, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and A1 sauce, stir fry for 20-30 seconds.
