This easy homemade shrimp recipe will make you love cooking. The ingredients not only make it delicious but colorful as well.

Ingredients:
  • 15 large Tiger prawns
  • Marinade
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Egg white
  • 1 tsp. Corn starch
  • Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • tsp. White vinegar
  • tsp. Light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Oyster sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. White pepper
  • For Stir-Fry
  • 6 oz. Broccoli
  • 1 small Ginger, sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1/4 small Carrot, sliced
  • 1 tsp. Cooking wine
  • 2 tbsp. Slurry( 1 Tbsp of cornstarch and 2 Tbsp of water. )

Pat dry tiger shrimps with a paper towel. (Key points: Pat dry the shrimps before marinating so the batter can coat onto the shrimps easily and not loose)

Put shrimps in a bowl, add the【Marinade】 mix well, then marinate for awhile.

Slice garlic, ginger, green onion, and carrots.

Bring a pot of water to a boil.

In the meanwhile, mixing【Sauce】ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.

Pass the broccoli through the boiling water for 10-15 seconds. Put broccolis ina bowl of ice-cold water to keep them green. Drain and set aside.

In a cooking pan over medium-low heat, add a tablespoon cooking oil, garlic, and ginger, fry until fragrant.

Add shrimps then stir fry until fragrant.

Add cooking wine(In order to remove the gamy taste and enrich the aroma, add the cooking wine two times).

Add broccoli, carrot, and green onion, stir several times.

Then add the sauce prepared 【Sauce】, stir fry until all ingredients are well flavored, sprinkle ground white pepper, add the slurry to thicken.
