Dehydrated tofu skin is so robust and versatile.The delicate flavor is a great canvas. Toss together some fresh herbs and vegetables a touch of seasoning and sesame oil, put simply you have created a dish that tastes amazing. The Tofu skin could have some natural health benefits for you too. Note: naturally vegan, gluten free, and high in plant based proteins.

Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet Dried tofu skin
  • 1 loaf of Green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 loaf of Red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tsp. Ground salt, divided
  • 1 cup Bean sprout
  • 1/4 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. Sesame oil
  • Cilantro

Soak the dry soy skin in water.

Remove the softened soy skin from water, then shred it into strips.

Shred the red and green bell pepper.

Bring a pot of water to boil, add ½ tsp salt first, then quickly pass the bean sprout, shredded red and green bell pepper, and soy skin strips in the boiling water for 20-30 seconds.

Remove from the boiling water, cool in ice-cold water and drain.

Then place on a plate.

Add ½ tsp salt, sugar, mashed garlic, sesame oil and cilantro, mix well and serve.
